Shop frontage for Oaklands

Michelle Cox hired me to create a logo design for her candle business. She’d already decided on the name “Oaklands” and thought a tree design might help communicate it. After our initial consultation, it was clear that Michelle had a great affinity with animals; it was for this reason that I suggested we go with a stag rather than a botanical design. 

I drew a simplified and stylised Stag that would work well, embossed small on pewter and added type. 

Michelle loved the design so much that she asked me to change the wording so she could also use it in her Bromyard Cafe “Oaklands”.
