Cosmetic Packaging Design
My brief was to redesign the range so that it was recognised that the product was still as one of the top formulations in the country.
THE BRIEF
Su-do Professional provides sunless tanning and skin care products to beauty professionals and individuals seeking a healthy looking tan without the damage that can be caused by UV exposure.
Previously voted ‘best in the industry’ they required a way to reconnect with their customers and inspire them to once again embrace Su-do Professional.
My brief was to redesign the range so that it was recognised that the product was still as one of the top formulations in the country.
THE SOLUTION
The previous pack was very busy in colour and layout. I reduced all the design elements and kept only the most important signifiers to convey a sense of calm and beauty, to echo the emotional environment this product would be used in.
I put the brand centre stage making sure that the design hierarchy led with the logo followed by the product information to evoke brand confidence.
Finishing accents like hot foil and mirrored labels were used to show the premium quality of the product and also to catch the eye of the customer.
