Leighton Denny Expert Nails were looking for a new design for their latest innovation: UV cured nail polish ‘LonGELity’.

THE BRIEF
As a leader in nail colour and prescriptive care for nails, hands and feet, Leighton Denny Expert Nails is committed to innovating fashion forward health and beauty products.

For their latest innovation: UV cured nail polish ‘LonGELity’ Leighton Denny Expert Nails were looking for a new design.

The brief included a new logo, pattern, packaging design, colour swatches for the lids and a presentation to showcase the product to prospective clients.

THE SOLUTION
They had already decided on a matte black bottle the same size and shape as their current clear bottle. To keep things tidy and consistent the brand logo was placed in the same place on the bottle, with the sub-brand logo and artwork placed, instead, on the cap.

The solution for the logo lay in a minimal use of the brand’s typeface with the letters ‘GEL’ in bold. The pattern was a stylish repeat of the name, easy to read at any angle.

The resulting design maintained the strong, existing brand, whilst setting this product aside from their current line with an uncompromising and striking look.
